The Nashville

We replaced the owner’s original stodgy & outdated home theater with this super-sleek, super-contemporary design, which features ultra-comfortable seating for 14 and an elegant, fully functional bar area.

The Jaffe

Entering, your eyes are drawn to the magnificent custom circular couch. Looking up you notice the beautifully designed diamond-shaped chandeliers set within a fiber-optic ceiling. 

The Cinéma Vérité

This boldly retro home theater from the design firm Dose of Destiny showcases fabric wall panels featuring laser-cut 3D artwork that can be used to conceal speakers and tastefully integrate acoustical treatments into a room.

The Gold

From the quilted door to the elegant fabric choice on the Monroe seats, this theater exudes a special richness. All seats have dual motors and the front row includes chaises for added comfort. 

The Southampton

Beach elegance finds a home in this exceptional theater. The white-leather Monroe seats reflect the freshness of sunshine & sandy shores. Furniture quality custom millwork & lighted floating panels add a breath of fresh air.

The Monmouth Junction

A Suchi Reddy Design is beautifully reflected in this custom theater. Transformer seats and front-row chaises provide comfort for an audience of up to 15 people. Full-length posters of some famous actors and friends surround the theater owners.

The Ellipse

This project began with the combined imagination of Audio Interiors and Julie Hillman Design. AcousticSmart’s team of dedicated home-theater design professionals then partnered with Julie Hillman design to help make the concept and vision of a serpentine-shaped room and sofa detail come to life.

The Reyes

This theater is anything but ordinary, The client wanted an elegant modern space to entertain friends and family. The theatre features our popular award-winning Transformer Genesis chairs with a quilted Bentley pattern.

The Aramalla

This theater takes simple and creates a whole new definition. Our popular and stylish Genesis chairs with a quilted pattern blend in perfectly with the patterned carpeting.

JBL Showroom

Being a leader in audio reproduction, JBL has access to many home theater designers, so when they asked us to do their corporate theater, we were honored to be chosen. Along with their acoustician, we created an environment supporting unparalleled sound quality. The result was a theater that  showcases JBL’s world-renowned sound in a space that’s both beautiful and comfortable.

The Palm Beach

Lighted columns and computer-generated Art Deco millwork on the walls make this theater unique. A built-in fireplace adds beauty & warmth to the plush room. An extra-wide riser allows easy reach to your favorite seat and an undisturbed viewing experience.

The Weinberg

An up-close look at the home theater of the legendary Max Weinberg, Musical Director of Late Night with Conan O’Brien and longtime drummer of Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band! Designed and installed by the team at AcousticSmart, see what Max had to say about the project.

From the blend of the unique red & black chairs paired with a massive screen to the awesome custom-fabric-printed movie posters that also serve as acoustical panels, to the sleek counters and cabinets, this room emits a futuristic vibe that grabs the attention of any guest who walks in. 

Garage Home Theater

Taking on the project many people dream of doing but few actually do, AcousticSmart’s own Richard Charschan transformed the typical two-car garage at his home into this no-compromise home theater.

The Steinlauf

Returns you to the era of magnificent movie palaces with a retro Art Deco design. Surrounded by rich wood finishes and massive ceiling beams, you can feel the richness of the room. Walls inlayed with quilted velvet and the fabrics on our Hampton seats continue to enhance the feeling. 

The Shiner

No matter how unique, every project begins with the combined imagination of AcousticSmart’s team of dedicated home theater design professionals along with the A/V dealer and client. With all of these raw creative forces at work, AcousticSmart set out to satisfy the client’s every desire and it all began with an empty room and a blank piece of paper.

CEDIA Award Winner

AcousticSmart collaborated with EDG to provide sophisticated acoustical panels so that the Genelec active loudspeakers deliver stellar sound in this acoustically perfect theater. “We even had a representative of Genelec meet us on site to assist us in wringing every bit of performance out of this system once the acoustical panels were installed,” said EDG president Bob Gullo.

The Mott

The Mott custom home theater was designed to provide the client with a warm and comfortable environment. The use of both deep and soft earth tones along with the beautiful leather reclining chairs was the idea behind giving our clients their own private getaway to a relaxing movie experience. This room was envisioned as a multi-purpose space, with a back area with custom cabinetry and a bar counter allows for perfect functionality.

The Art Deco

Our client wanted to create a space that was Art Deco yet classic. With the help of our design team we were able to create an environment unlike any other. The gold & black tones really set the mood and the faux painted columns take this theatre to the next level. The fiber-optic ceiling and the bar area add to the splendor of this Long Island getaway.

The North Wilton

Luxury never looked this good. For this theater, our design team was able to balance the black and gold tones to create a one-of-a-kind luxurious space. Starting with the gold-accented chairs, to the dramatic lit-up coffer ceiling, the lighting fixtures and drapery combined create a lavish and opulent space that our clients couldn’t be more pleased with. 

The Blue Room

This futuristic Long Island theater is the perfect example of splendor. Following our initial meeting with the client, and viewing our portfolio we were unsure as to what style theater to proceed with. After speaking with the client, house architect and the AcousticSmart design team, the client decided to go with a loosely based Frank Loyd Wright column design.

The New Canaan

The perfect escape from the day’s stress, this attic theater serves its owners well. Our team of dedicated professionals transformed this attic from something ordinary to something unique. Featuring nine of AcousticSmart’s popular Firenza cinema loungers and custom-designed moldings for the ceiling and walls, this theater is one that we proudly show off.

The New Rochelle

Set in New Rochelle, NY, this theater features burgundy Damask fabric with gold accents and moldings, which really set the tone for this luxurious space. The customer envisioned something traditional but wanted elements to set their theater apart from the others.

The Brookville

The Brookville theater—a classic example of magnificence. Our design team together with our client created a theater that is both a fun space for the family as well as a quiet escape. The owners have it all in this comfortable theater. They can sit back and enjoy a film, play some games, or take a silent refuge.

The Eastern Long Island

The first floor of this Eastern Long Island home became the setting for this traditional theater with a twist.

The Becker

Once you step into this theater, you are immediately taken on a journey into New York City. Our Smart Art panels show the city skyline at dusk. Combine that with our fiber-optic ceiling and you feel like you’re at your favorite NYC night spot soaking up the beautiful views. Our client wanted a peaceful place to get away and our design team produced a unique theater that the client’s whole family can enjoy.

The Berman

Created for a home once owned by a student of America’s premier architect, Frank Lloyd Wright. The home being constructed completely out of stone left few options for finding the best room for an acoustically correct theater environment.

The Barmakian

The Barmakian is a tasteful interpretation of timeless, traditional interior architecture, featuring classically detailed woodwork in rich, hardwood finishes, Highlights include traditional-styled wall fabrics, luxurious recliners covered in theatre velvet, and a fiber-optic ceiling system designed to integrate theater acoustics with the nighttime sky.

The North Hills

The North Hills is a world-class cinema in a minimal modernist style, closely following the design influence of the main home. This architectural theater is highlighted with stainless-steel reveals, a fiber-optic ceiling, and a cine-curve screen.
