This futuristic Long Island theatre is the perfect example of splendor. Following our initial meeting with the client, and viewing our portfolio we were unsure as to what type of style theatre to proceed with. After speaking with the client, house Architect and the AcousticSmart design team, the client decided to go with a loosely based Frank Loyd Wright column design, which allows the pilasters to be illuminated from within through a blue diffuser panel. Light also escapes from the side slots of the pilaster causing the glowing effect. Another feature of the pilaster is that the doors are on a hinge so they are easily accessible for repair, or to change the color of the light diffusers.
